So this week I got back to running with Endure 24 in mind.

My training plan doesn’t start till 20th January, but between now and then I want to get my base level of fitness back up.

So in June 2018 I did Endure 24 Leeds and did 55 miles (11 laps) – but it broke me and really I haven’t run since.

I took over a year off and I am glad, but now I am back on it.


I have set myself a personal OKR for this quarter to get my base level back up.


This week, I couldn’t make my running Club on Tuesday, but a rare Thursday of my son not being at Beavers meant I could get a long run-in with them.

Just short of 6 miles, would have been a bit longer, but we accidentally took a short cut.

Then on Sunday I, not feeling great I put my shoes on to do a short 3 miles, this was mainly off road.

So not a bad start 9 miles this week.
